Survey finds Online Dating is Good way to Meet a Date

According to a new survey conducted by GlobeScan with nearly 11,000 Internet users over 19 countries, 1 out of every 3 Internet users see online dating as a good way to meet a new partner, this is very encouraging, especially if we combine this with advances in technology and the shift towards online dating becoming socially accepted, which has led to 30% of Internet users now regarding the Internet as a good way to finding themselves a partner.

Another factor which is helping Kissinggates.com grow is the improvement in rural broadband access and Internet access in the countryside and farms. The Internet is a vital part of agriculture now and farmers are reliant on accessing DEFRA, Animal Health, Grain Prices etc online in order to trade and of course now they are using it to find country friends and partners for farmers. We hope these two areas continue to grow and prosper.

Radio Farming Show

James Vestbirk, founder of KissingGates.com, was up early on Valentines Day to be interviewed by Sally Elkington on the Lincs FM farming show. If you missed the show listen to Sally’s podcast.

James talked to Sally about single farmers dating and the difficulties in finding countryside love, they also discussed safety issues with regard to online dating and finding love, particularly single women. Sally was amazed with the high percentage of women registering on Kissinggates.com and the growth in over 40’s. This has led to one of the busiest times ever for Kissinggates.com as people search for country friends and partners for farmers.

Kissinggates Feature on Countryfile.

Julia Bradbury, reported rambling in South Shropshire on this week’s Countryfile, which is said to attract 250,000 visitors / year. Julia joined a group of ramblers to find out whether walking is a good route to finding romance in the countryside.

The conclusion was YES! :) This is fantastic if you are looking for Horse Dating and love in the countryside, Julia amusingly finds a kissinggate and gives every rambler a kiss as they pass through the gate, some rather more enthusiastic than others! This highlights how appropriate the name Kissinggates.com is for a rural themed dating website.
