Though many young men naturally enjoy dating, countryside dating is something that they might never have initially considered, especially if they do not live and/or work in the country. However, the experience of countryside dating can hold some rather unconventional and unexpected joys for such men. Indeed, this is what more! magazine’s male columnist, Gary Knox, 28, discovered last year when he tried some countryside dating arranged for him by the boss of KissingGates.com.
In the column he wrote for the magazine after his taster of countryside dating, he pointed out the type of problems which often beset young men living in the country who look for love. He wrote that we should “Spare a thought for those living deep in the countryside, where, after a long day working on the farm, the only pub is five miles away”, before asking: “If the local hot girl gets married or moves, are you left with her ugly sisters?”
However, Gary turned out to be pleasantly surprised by his experience of countryside dating. He was particularly impressed with the date which KissingGates.com had set him up with: a tall, attractive 25-year-old brunette called Christina. Gary and Christina rode in a jeep for an off-road treasure hunt also organised by KissingGates.com, and Gary later wrote in his column that “Country dating seems more intimate and, dare I say it, romantic, than city dating.”
