Well someone did and thousands of people now play on Farmville and Fantasy farm on Facebook. Fantasy Farm currently has 65,000 worldwide active users on facebook and over 11,000 fans.

Although this is a simple game it is a good way to highlight the issues farmers face and to educate people where food comes from. Players have to build a farm and protect it from disease and environmental disasters.

An area the game does not focus on is the social problems from living on a farm and rural community such as Single Farmers, finding Country Friends and Partners For Farmers.

Kissinggates.com offers a service for to help single farmers find a partner and begin dating again, it is free and safe to register.

A study by match.com in 2007 found most Britains believed internet dating was mortifying and only for 30 something singletons living at home with their parents, but there has been a change with the growth and acceptability of social networking sites like facebook over the past couple of years and now 80% of singles say it’s fine to date online.

Catch all site like match.com are seeing a massive growth, but the real growth in terms of percentages and success in match making is in the niche dating sector. Kissinggates.com is an online dating site that focuses on bringing together people from the countryside who share common interests. This does mean that there are not millions of members but crucially there are not millions of random members who you would not be compatible with, this makes the dating experience quicker and easier.
