If you are enjoying using the KissingGates.com website to arrange country dating, then imagine what your reaction would be if, in several decades’ time, a son of yours by one of your country dates won a gold medal at the Olympic Games. That is the reaction that is likely being currently experienced by the Dorset farmer parents of Olympian shooter Peter Wilson, who has just won Great Britain’s third gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Wilson showed great composure as he hit 188 clays out of 200 in the double trap shooting, thus beating his closest rival by two shots. The final in which he won the event was the last of four rounds of 50 shots played on Thursday. Furthermore, the 25-year-old sounded delighted with his victory, which has resulted in Great Britain’s first Olympic shooting medal since Richard Faulds won the same event in Sydney in 2000.

Indeed, it was after his victory that Wilson described his day as an “emotional rollercoaster”, adding that it meant a “huge amount” for him to win the gold medal. It is bound to mean a huge amount to the nation, too, and from every staff member at KissingGates.com he receives huge congratulations. His success at the 2012 Olympic Games follows that of equestrian sportswoman Mary King, who recently won a silver medal with the Team GB eventing team and is a farmer’s wife.
