Survey finds Online Dating is Good way to Meet a Date

According to a new survey conducted by GlobeScan with nearly 11,000 Internet users over 19 countries, 1 out of every 3 Internet users see online dating as a good way to meet a new partner, this is very encouraging, especially if we combine this with advances in technology and the shift towards online dating becoming socially accepted, which has led to 30% of Internet users now regarding the Internet as a good way to finding themselves a partner.

Another factor which is helping Kissinggates.com grow is the improvement in rural broadband access and Internet access in the countryside and farms. The Internet is a vital part of agriculture now and farmers are reliant on accessing DEFRA, Animal Health, Grain Prices etc online in order to trade and of course now they are using it to find country friends and partners for farmers. Farming can be a lonely occupation at times; working with animals or on your own for hours at a time. Twitter.com gives farmers an opportunity to share some banter and stories.

For example, one farmer might not feel compelled to actually phone a fellow farmer to tell them they have got stuck in the mud, got a flat tyre, their sheep have got out or another amusing story. Twitter is a means for farmers to create a circle of banter in short posts - Kind of like public text messages. Now mobile telephones often have internet access it’s even easier to stay in touch with other farmers all across the UK.

Another use for farmers is if they are not sure on something they can post a question on Twitter – “Mind gone blank, how long is a sheeps gestation period?” This can help you find a quick and easy answer, especially if you follow and connect with vets!

Although this is a simple game it is a good way to highlight the issues farmers face and to educate people where food comes from. Players have to build a farm and protect it from disease and environmental disasters.
