Single farmers increase but workforce decreases..

Monday, April 20th, 2009

The number of divorces and single occupancy households are increasing across rural UK.

The farm workforce was 611,000 in 1997 but this figure has dropped to 526,000 in 2007, a 14% drop. Logic would suggest if there are less farmers in rural areas it is easier to find love, however this is not the case.

People moving out of agriculture into other sectors are remaining in the rural community and find it easier to find love because there partners can cope better with a 9-5 lifestyle. There is hope though, kissinggates.com is the home of rural dating online. Register today for free and find a perfect rural partner.

Rural Crime on Increase

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

People living in rural communities must tighten security as the UK enters a recession.

We are expecting the trend of rural burglaries to continue as it did in 2008, when NFU insurance claims increased 14.7%. In past recessions crime levels have increased in rural areas, there is something else that has increased dramatically over the last 10 years – single occupancy housing.

If you live alone it is a lot harder to keep track of your valuables and assets but by living with another person you minimise the risk of robbery. The problem with this is the longer you live alone the harder it is to meet someone new. So to improve rural security and your lifestyle find a rural partner today at Kissinggates.com.
